at the Miner's Memorial at the 1889 Park next to the club area.

The Southern Allegheny Live Steam Railroad is just a part of the 1889 Park. The 1889 Park is run by the Adams-Croyle Townships Recreation Authority.

The Southern Allegheny Live Steam Railroad will be an 1-1/2" Scale railroad. The track will start off with a loop approximately 2500 feet in length.

Mark Blaisdell is standing at the entrance to the new proposed 1-1/2" Scale Southern Allegheny Live Steam Railroad. The club's railroad is located in the1889 Park, outside St. Michael, Pennsylvania. The proposed railroad will mostly follow an old unused walking trail that had been established in the park years ago. The roadway to Mark's left is also the entrance to a parking area at the Miner's Memorial, which is adjacent to the club's area.

The 1889 Park is run by the Adams-Croyle Recreation Authority, which consists of members from Adams Township and Croyle Township.

The 1889 Park offers, picnic facilities, camping facilities, a ballfield, The Miner's Memorial, and is located just east of the Johnstown Flood Memorial Park - the Old South Fork Dam site, run by the National Park Service.

The Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Johnstown, the first RR Tunnel built in the USA near Mineral Point, The Portage Alleghaney RR, and the Inclined Plane in Johnstown, are all within a 10 -30 minute drive of the park.
